Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related tech.

• 5+ years of controls or equipment engineering in manufacturing.
• Expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, I/O, motion control, and PLC languages.
• IEC 61131 programming, PID tuning, and electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical controls support for a 24/7 manufacturing environment; troubleshoot complex equipment and validate corrective actions.
• Create and manage project plans with scope, schedule, cost, and acceptance criteria for automation projects.
• Track daily production and quality metrics; maintain dashboards and trend tools for decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including new technology, automation upgrades, and cost-reduction projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Facilities, Project Engineering, QE to resolve equipment issues and drive performance.
• Coach and mentor automation engineering team members on machine controls, programming, and safe operating practices.
