We are currently seeking a person to fill theAutomation & Control Specialist in ourAtlantic Region.

What You Will Do with Us

As theRexel AtlanticAutomation & Control Specialist, you are responsible for the Automation & Control product portfolio. You will support the geographical region in the Atlantic. Reporting to the Automation & Control Manager, you will represent the segment of Schneider IAD program and the Rexel Atlantic automation & control portfolio of services supporting both internal and external customers with selection and solution knowledge while being responsible for the sales performance of the Services discipline within the assigned territory.

• You will prepare and execute an annual strategic business plan for sales development.
• You will develop and execute commercial activities as a component of an annual strategic business plan.
• You will actively manage an opportunity funnel that is appropriate for achieving sales objectives.
• You will actively pursue and develop new business opportunities.
• You will support Rexel Atlantic and Schneider local sales representatives with account planning and execution.
• You will act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide technical solutions to customers.
• You will provide post-sale technical support to build the competency and confidence of customers.

• You will conduct technical presentations and product updates.
• You will attend supplier partner training (Canada/US) to maintain a high level of specialized product and application knowledge.
• You must be able to travel regularly or as needed for training as this is required for the position.
• You will execute product launches, seminars, promotional programs, etc.
• You will implement strategies to address competition and expand market penetration using available marketing tools.

Who Are You

• You have an Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
• You have a minimum of 2-years of previous experience in automation or technical product sales/support.
• You have strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• You have a strong ability to build relationships.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation is preferred.
• You have product and application knowledge of automation products and services.
• **Valid driver’s license andpassportwill be required for this position.
