Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to help administer and operate the global infrastructure. You will support core engineering platforms and automation, driving efficient operations and secure, compliant technology services.

You will work with Azure and various cloud tools, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluent English and travel/overtime flexibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• The role requires 2–5 years in an Operations Engineer environment.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure design and conceptual thinking.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-cultural teams.
• Excellent communication, regular touchpoints, and ability to explain complex issues.
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluency in English; international experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud administration and engineering support across core platforms (Ansible, Nexus, GitLab, GitHub, Wiz, New Relic, SolarWinds, Terraform, IAC).
• Triaging, investigating, and resolving operational tickets for platform tools and workflows.
• Troubleshoot failed automation runs and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Support Azure resource maintenance and components not fully under team control.
• Perform recurring operational hygiene tasks: credential rotation, resource cleanup, log review, data extraction, reporting.
• Collaborate with team specialists to route and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor emerging cloud technologies, trends, and solutions.
