Job summary

HellermannTyton North America is seeking an Automation Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern in Milwaukee, WI. The role provides hands-on experience assisting with manufacturing automation, robotics, and lean process improvements while aligning with Quality and EHS standards.

You will work under the Automation CI Supervisor, develop skills in automation systems, data analysis, and project execution, and support documentation and cross‑functional teams across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CAD software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with automation and robotics projects.
• Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with developing standard work instructions and documentation.
• Help create and maintain engineering drawings, project documentation, and technical records.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering.
