C&S Wholesale Grocers in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking an Automation Cell Operator I for the second shift. You will operate automated cells, monitor throughput, and respond to alarms while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Training is provided and the role includes opportunities to support inbound/outbound flows and cross-location flexibility. The position offers full-time hours, a 6pm–4:30am shift, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Ability to prioritize work to maximize uptime and throughput in an automated cell.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated cells in outbound and MIB to meet hourly rate and throughput goals.

The Cell Operator 1 is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the automated material handling system including operating robotic cells, clearing system faults, maintaining supply levels, and using HMI interfaces to execute tasks. Operate automated cells in inbound for training, development, and overall team flexibility. Run the cell consistently, being conscious of hourly rate & throughput goals, availability metrics, product quality, and MTTR (Mean Time to Respond)Use Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to execute standard commands and respond to basic system prompts. Respond and resolve all alarms on assigned cells. Support flow by assisting robotic/manual adjustments and tracking issues that need reported to maintenance.* System Prep, CIM, Supply & Sanitation Perform pre- and post-shift system checks including pre-flights, post-flights, and full Clean, Inspect, Maintain (CIM) procedures. Replenish supplies (stretch wrap, labels, etc.) and notify if restock is needed. Maintain sanitation and 5S standards in work area.
