C&S Wholesale Grocers in Windsor Locks, CT is hiring for a Warehouse Porter/Custodian on the 1st shift. Earn $19.00 per hour with full-time benefits. The role runs Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM at 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096.

You will keep our facilities clean and safe, perform warehouse cleaning, manage spills, and assist with occasional pallet jack movement. Training is provided and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Attendance and a GED/HS diploma are required.
• Strong focus on safety and quality in a warehouse setting.
• Reliability and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean and safe work environment as custodian/janitor.
• Clean the warehouse, including offices, break areas, windows and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff and wax floors.
• Occasionally move products with an electric pallet jack for cleaning.
• Follow all material handling equipment safety procedures.
• Lift and handle items up to 60 lbs as needed.
