Prolific Machines is advancing biotechnology with an optogenetic platform enabling precise control of cellular behavior. We seek a Research Associate II or Senior RA to develop automated CLD workflows and optimize CHO cell line performance, with on-site duties at our Emeryville, CA headquarters.

You will run independent experiments, implement automation at seed train, production, and screening stages, and collaborate across CLD and other teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5+ years of industry experience or Master's with 1-4+ years required for RA II; more for Sr. RA.
• Designing and proposing experimental plans, conducting experiments, troubleshooting techniques.
• Follow protocols precisely, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint or Google Workspace; independent data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct experiments independently; collect and analyze data; maintain electronic lab notebooks.
• Establish efficient automation workflows (Tecan or Hamilton) for CLD processes.
• Communicate findings across teams and present data for internal forums.
• Provide data for presentations, patent apps, or publications; support regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with CLD and other teams; maintain lab safety and upkeep.
• Develop and optimize analytical methods; ensure adherence to protocols and safety.
• Onsite presence required for Automation and CLD responsibilities.
