Job summary

Prolific Machines in Emeryville, CA, is seeking a Research Associate to join the Cell Line Development team, contributing technically to advancing multiple projects while bringing innovation to workflows.

You will maintain a cell line bank, engineer new lines, and execute cell-based/protein assays, with data analysis and collaboration across teams. On-site position with growth opportunities and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in industry preferred.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.
• Familiarity with ELNs and data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintenance of internal cell line bank and banking of new lines.
• Develop and engineer new cell lines and assess antigen expression.
• Design and perform cell-based and protein analysis assays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and document work.
• Update SOPs and maintain lab documentation.
