Lakeside Foods Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator to join our packaging operations in Wisconsin. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a path to a professional career in our manufacturing team.

You will operate packaging machines, perform basic setup, ensure quality, and maintain safe, efficient line operation. We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machine, boxer, depalletizer or brenton.
• Complete paperwork accurately for finished work.
• Prevent off-quality product from being labeled.
• Stack cases on pallets following proper patterns.
• Clean out rail cars and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Assist in loading of rail cars and trucks.

Here at Lakeside Foods, our Machine Operations team is the backbone of our packaging operations, ensuring that equipment runs optimally, while maintaining product flow. Machine Operators are respected team members responsible for operating packaging machines, metal detectors, check weighers, case sealers and all associated line equipment. They are also responsible for set up of equipment and making any adjustments necessary to keep the line operating efficiently. This is an entry level position with on the job training. What You’ll Do:

• Operates label machine, boxer, depalletizer or brenton.
• Fills out paperwork properly for completed work.
• Prevents off-quality product from being labeled.
• Stacks cases on pallets in proper pattern.
• Cleans out rail cars.
• Removes labels from cans.
• Assists in loading of rail cars and trucks.
