Lakeside Foods Inc. in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Freezer Forklift Operator Team Member to join our Packaging Center. You will operate a forklift in the freezer warehouse and support feeding, shipping, and receiving operations.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience 1–3 years preferred.
• Experience backing up trailers safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in the freezer warehouse.
• Work in one or more areas: feeding, take-away, shipping and/or receiving.
• Maintain inventory, stage product, and complete paperwork.
• Create location storage stickers and move finished goods to storage.
• Receive inbound inventory in SAP and assign storage locations.
• Select, prepare, and load outbound orders per customer specs and complete paperwork.
• Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory and stock locations.
• Perform cycle counts as needed.
• Operate forklift, hoist, motorized conveyor and other equipment safely.
• Utilize SAP daily to locate inventory and complete paperwork.
• Adhere to Lakeside Foods policies.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive a forklift in our Freezer Warehouse.
• Will work in one or more areas: feeding, take-away, shipping and/or receiving.
• Keep lines fed by locating and delivering stock to appropriate machines safely and on time, maintaining inventory, staging product, and completing the necessary paperwork.
• Create location storage stickers, move finished goods to appropriate location for storage, and bring labels to lines.
• Unload and inspect inbound inventory andmaterials, receive product into SAP, and use SAP to determine appropriate location for storage.
• Accurately select, prepare, and load product for outbound shipment per customer specifications, create/complete the necessary paperwork. Checks materials against vendor invoices, bill of lading, customer orders and similar papers.
• Must be able to use RF scanning equipment, paperwork and computer to ensure accuracy of inventory andlocation of stock in storage area.
• Perform cycle counts when needed.
• Must be qualified and licensed to properly operate a forklift, hoist, motorized conveyor and other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Utilize SAP daily to locate inventory, create location stickers, maintain accurate inventory and complete shipping andreceiving paperwork.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
