Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate to support greenhouse and headhouse operations with automated workflows and plant production activities in controlled environments. You will help run automation systems, assist with robotics, and ensure safety and quality in daily tasks.

The role involves transplanting, sampling, and crop maintenance, plus operating facility equipment and tools. Expect on-call rotation and weekend coverage with time off in lieu as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Controlled Environment teams on automation-related tasks.
  • Perform routine greenhouse operations including transplanting, sampling, and crop maintenance.
  • Operate facility equipment such as automated washers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Troubleshoot automation and equipment issues; document findings and assist with corrective actions.
  • Track system performance trends to support continuous improvement.

This role is responsible for ensuring automation systems, robotics, and plant care activities are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
