Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an Assembly / Manufacturing Engineer for a high-volume, fast-paced operation in the Morristown / Dandridge area of East Tennessee. The role focuses on automating production lines and improving processes, with hands-on work on process capability studies, control plans, and PFMEA documentation.

PLC troubleshooting skills are a plus as projects drive greater automation. Preferred candidates hold a BS in Engineering, though an AS with 5+ years of relevant high-volume

Qualifications

BS Engineering degree preferred, or AS with 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing.
Experience with process capability studies, PFMEA and control plans.
Background in automation projects and PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist on projects to automate production lines.
Conduct process capability studies and develop control plans.
Create PFMEA documentation and write technical work instructions for equipment and processes.
Troubleshoot PLCs to support manufacturing operations.
