Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a hands-on Automation Architect to lead enterprise-scale modernization initiatives, focusing on Playwright-based automation and Python. This role involves designing, building, and guiding the development of scalable automation frameworks across Web, API, Desktop, and Database domains.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Playwright and Python, plus a strong architecture vision and stakeholder leadership while driving AI-enabled SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Test Automation and Quality Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Automation Architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on Playwright and Python expertise.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and enterprise automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation modernization and migration programs from assessment to execution.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable automation frameworks with Playwright and Python.
• Establish standards, components, and best practices across domains.
• Provide technical leadership across Web, API, Desktop, and Database automation.
• Drive migration roadmaps and define automation strategies with stakeholders.
• Guide CI/CD integration and automation execution pipelines.
• Mentor engineering teams throughout modernization efforts.
