Job summary

Invio Automation seeks an Applications Engineer to support front-end development of automation solutions. You will collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to interpret customer requirements, RFQs, and application needs while developing foundational skills in system concepts, estimating, documentation, and proposal development.

Under supervision, you will prepare technical content, CAD layouts, cost inputs, and supporting documentation, gaining hands-on exposure to automation

Qualifications

• Experience in automation, manufacturing, or applications engineering.
• Ability to interpret customer RFQs and specifications.
• Familiar with automation system components and robotics concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with engineers, sales, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for application development and ensure scalable solutions.
• Analyze RFQs, specs, concepts and drawings to extract requirements.
• Assist in preparing system concepts, CAD layouts, and cost estimates.
• Support proposal preparation with BOM data and drawings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering and operations.
