Job summary

Autoliv United States is seeking an Automation and PLC Technician to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of production assembly machine systems. The role involves repairs, documenting maintenance, and developing mechanical and software control standards.

You will interpret electrical and safety devices and prepare troubleshooting guides while collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet specifications and safety requirements. On-site position in Tremonton, UT.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Enrollment in a vocational degree (2-3 years).
• High-speed automated machine repair, PLC, troubleshooting, control systems troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine applications.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of production assembly machines and repair as needed.
• Verify conformance to specifications and document maintenance activities.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor this position is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production assembly machine systems by verifying conformance to specifications, performing repairs, and documenting all maintenance activities. Additionally, the role involves creating mechanical and software control standards, understanding various electronic and safety devices, and providing technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
