Job description

Responsibilities include:

1. Installing electrical circuits, conduit, and wiring in accordance with local and NEC codes.
2. Maintaining automated equipment, electric power distribution circuits, lighting, and climate control systems.
3. Repairing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment, component parts, and PLC systems.
4. Programming and troubleshooting machines in industrial settings.
5. Testing systems to ensure smooth operations.
6. Performing preventative maintenance, including upgrades.
7. Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
8. Ensuring electrical equipment complies with regulatory codes at all levels.
9. Performing rigging, safety functions, and other electrical tasks.
10. Using shop tools safely and proficiently.
11. Demonstrating mechanical knowledge and programming VFDs.
12. Operating forklifts and high lifts safely.
13. Troubleshooting PLCs.
14. Working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair electrical systems.
15. Testing electrical systems and circuits for safety and compatibility.
16. Collaborating with a team of skilled trade workers.
17. Adapting to hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced environments.

Qualifications include:
