Summary of Job Duties: This position maintains and modifies the Building Automation System (BAS) related to HVAC equipment that serves medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus. These systems are vital for safety, comfort, and wellbeing. The role also involves assisting with facility issues and emergencies on campus.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Technical/Trade school and 1 year HVAC Control experience or HS diploma/GED plus 2 years HVAC Control experience
• Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of installation, diagnosis, and repair of Building Automation Systems
• Knowledge of environmental control systems
• Experience with digital controls, pneumatics, hydronics, mechanical/electrical systems, and control techniques
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major traffic violations
• Ability to respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot BAS
