Job summary

Freddie Mac is seeking a Software Engineer Professional to join the Automation team within the Internal Audit division. You will help develop, enhance, and implement automation and data analytics solutions to support control testing automation.

Responsibilities include understanding requirements, ensuring code quality and best practices, and communicating progress and challenges promptly while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with data analytics using R, Python, or SQL.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command-line tools and Git for version control.
• Experience with source code management using JFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps (CI/CD) tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Spinnaker, Cucumber JS.
• 2+ years of experience in database technologies such as Snowflake, Postgres, etc.
• Strong writing and communication skills; detail-oriented in documentation.
