Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable security automation for data centers. You will apply agentic AI to workflows, partner with cross functional teams, and help deliver reliable, self-service tooling that keeps services secure and efficient.

You will learn best practices, review designs, and trade off cost and impact while handling tickets across products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring.

Responsibilities

Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions within defined timelines.
Learn and apply engineering best practices; have designs reviewed and incorporate feedback.
Identify problems from technical discussions, calculate costs, and make technical trade-offs.
Contribute to operational excellence and troubleshooting.
Handle incoming system and service tickets across multiple products and services.
