Job summary

Berkeley Research Group, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated business applications and integrations across finance, HR, and legal functions. You will gather requirements from stakeholders, implement AI-enabled automation, and ensure secure, scalable solutions within a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, drive process improvement, and contribute to digital transformation while adhering to coding standards and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in a Microsoft .NET environment including C# and PowerShell.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business users across Finance, HR, Accounting, Payroll, and Legal to understand processes and gather requirements.
• Analyze workflows to identify automation and integration opportunities using AI capabilities.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain apps, scripts, APIs, integrations, and reports.
• Build and support integrations between enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on tech initiatives.
• Provide troubleshooting, documentation, and support for existing systems and security controls.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
