Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Automatic Door Technician in Port St. Lucie, FL to service a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors.

A mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in access control or door hardware is preferred. Position involves installation and repair work, safety-conscious practices, and timely administrative duties. AAADM certification is required; valid driver’s license and clean driving record are

Qualifications

• Prior mechanical/electrical aptitude in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record.
• AAADM Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair automatic doors and door hardware (swinging, sliding, bi-folding, revolving).
• Identify opportunities to offer customers products and services.
• Track and submit job-related paperwork promptly.
• Operate safely at all times while performing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
