Job summary

Door Control Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc. in Hammond, LA, is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to install and repair a range of automatic door systems including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors.

A mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience with access control are ideal. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, with AAADM certification preferred, and must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work at heights, and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean

Door Control Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking an Automatic Door Technician in the Hammond, LA area. You will be working on a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. If you have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and have experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors, please apply!

What You'll Do

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
• AAADM Certification Preferred
