Automated Door Ways in Columbus, GA is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and maintain doors on site across commercial facilities. You will repair doors, review work with customers, and coordinate parts and time spent on services.

This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, ability to lift 75+ lbs, on-call rotation, and a willingness to work overtime and weekends. The company provides tools, a vehicle, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience servicing or installing automatic doors.
• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools professionally.
• Mechanically minded with a good aptitude to learn.
• Willing to adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• On-call availability on a rotating schedule.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift 75+ pounds in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Basic computer skills and use of phone apps for work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record.
• Successful background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and entrance products.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Meet with customers onsite to review work before and after service.
• Order and track parts and time spent on service.
• Complete dispatches, work orders, and service requests accurately.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork.
• Submit paperwork timely via company phone.
• Manage parts and materials on company vehicle.
• Maintain a professional, safe job site.
