In this role you will

• Repair and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services to solve potential issues
• Meet with customers onsite to review work before and after services
• Work with office staff to order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services
• Complete dispatches, work orders, and service requests accurately and on time
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork
• Submit paperwork to office staff in a timely manner – often via company‑issued phone
• Manage parts and materials on your company‑issued vehicle
• Maintain a professional attitude in a safe working environment with a clean job site

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have

• 1+ years of experience in the servicing or installing automatic doors
• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools – professionally or personally
• Mechanically‑minded with a desire to continue learning
• Ready to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
• Willing and able to work overtime with the possibility of weekends, as necessary
• Willing and able to be on‑call, on a rotating basis with other ADW technicians
• Ability to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non‑climate‑controlled environment; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights/use a ladder
• Familiar with basic computer skills, operating phone applications, and general communication via phone/email/messengers/text
• High school diploma/GED
• Unrestricted and valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

Extra dose of awesomeness if you have

• 2+ years of experience in one or more of these fields: construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military, mechanical, or similar
• 1+ years of customer service/interaction experience
• Skilled understanding of mechanical, electrical systems, or wiring
• 1+ years using power tools and hand tools in a professional setting
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Organized, with a strong attention to detail
• Familiar with workflow within a construction job site or similar environment
