Job summary

Loxo in Omaha, NE is seeking a Commercial Door Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain commercial automated doors and revolving doors. You will shadow an experienced technician for 60–90 days, use a tablet daily, and operate a company truck for on-site visits; on-call rotation every 10 weeks.

This full-time on-site role requires readiness for varied Midwest weather and ongoing hands-on learning of advanced door systems.

Commercial Door Service Technician – Omaha, NE!

Direct Hire, Full-Time

$22.00 per hour

Standard daily hours, plus an on-call rotation every 10 weeks (for 1 week)

Duties

• Service repair, and maintain commercial automated doors and revolving doors for schools, assisted living facilities, government offices, and various commercial properties.
• Experience in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, auto mechanics, or general troubleshooting is highly valued
• Ability look at a broken piece of equipment, diagnose the issue, and think outside the box to fix it
• Must be comfortable using a tablet daily to access apps, update work orders, and log data
• We value positivity, respect, and a reliable work ethic
• Must be comfortable working on-site in all types of Midwest weather conditions
• You will shadow and work alongside an experienced technician for your first 60 to 90 days
• The first year comes with a steep learning curve due to the variety of advanced door systems, but you will build a highly valuable skill set
• You will have access to a company truck during the workday (available to take home after your first year, or during your on-call weeks)
