Allegion's Install Technician - Stanley Access Technologies position in Hanover, MD offers hands-on installation and service of door and access systems. Eligible candidates can earn a $3,000 bonus upon AAADM certification and will maintain equipment, records, and customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 75–100 lbs.

• Keep up-to-date on changes to Stanley equipment and AAADM standards.
• Present neat appearance and workmanship per company policy.
• Maintain inventory for service vehicle and log it.
• Test equipment before leaving job site and perform safety check.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.

Install Technician - Stanley Access Technologies - Hanover, MD

$3,000 Bonus Upon Completion of AAADM Certification!

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do:

• Perform installation or service work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer.
• Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
• Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.
• Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in proper manner.
• Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
• Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
• Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver's license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100lbs.
• Excellent Oral & Written communication skills.
• Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.
• Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.
• Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.
• Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
• Ability to work in various climates.
• Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation:

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Base Hourly Range: $25 - $35 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other
