Job summary

Stanley Access Technologies, part of Allegion, is seeking an Install Technician to install and service automatic doors in the Ontario/Los Angeles area. You will perform installations, maintenance, while accurately recording time and parts used.

Flexibility to work nights or weekends is required, and AAADM certification is preferred. We value meticulous technicians who stay current with equipment changes, follow ANSI156.10 standards, keep documentation up to date, and maintain a professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100lbs.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation or service work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer.
• Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
• Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.
• Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in proper manner.
• Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
• Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
• Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100lbs.
• Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.
• Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.
• Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.
• Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
• Ability to work in various climates.
• Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation:

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Hourly Range: $26.00-40.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
