Allegro MicroSystems, LLC is seeking a Test Development Engineer to join our Product and Test Engineering team in Manchester, NH. You will develop automated test solutions, writing C/C++ programs for ATE and collaborating with IC designers and product engineers to ensure robust test coverage.

You will gain hands-on experience with device interface boards, probe cards, and production release processes, contributing to automotive-grade test solutions in a high-volume environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE, ECE, or related field.
• 0 to 5 years in electronics testing, hardware lab bring-up, or semiconductor environments.
• Foundational knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python for test execution and data collection.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies).
• Basic exposure to schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar).
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with senior engineers to write, debug, and maintain modular C/C++ test programs for ATE.
• Assist in the design and checkout of custom test hardware (DIBs, PIBs, probe cards).
• Participate in first-silicon bring-up and correlate bench measurements with ATE results.
• Perform statistical data analysis (JMP, Python, Excel) to evaluate distributions and test yield.
• Partner with IC Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and manufacturing teams to release robust test solutions.
• Use bench instrumentation and thermal systems to debug hardware and software test routines.
