Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, seeks an Automated Test Engineer to lead product validation testing, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and test infrastructure development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline as listed.
• 3+ years in test/controls/instrumentation in manufacturing.
• U.S. citizen eligible for government security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and execute validation testing for vacuum pumps, compressors, packaged systems, and related rotating equipment.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve test-system issues discovered during validation to support qualification and release.
• Own motors, VFDs, DC drives, PLCs, controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for reliable testing.
• Maintain and improve LabVIEW applications, NI hardware, and test infrastructure for future automation.
• Analyze test data, trends, and work with engineering to validate designs and drive improvement.
• Create and improve test procedures, calibration plans, and standard work instructions.
• Generate engineering reports and other technical documentation; communicate results to teams and customers.
