Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an Automation Technician in Acworth, GA to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility automation equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. You will support ABB robots and Allen-Bradley PLCs, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime while collaborating with engineers on improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with automated equipment in an industrial setting.
• At least 2 years direct maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Proven ABB Robotics and Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility automation equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Support robotic and automated systems—especially ABB Robots and Allen-Bradley PLCs—to ensure high performance and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support production goals and process improvements.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on assembly and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain control, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical power transmission systems.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on low and high‑voltage systems (110V and 480V).
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for repairs and modifications.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues to support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturing engineers.
