Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Plant Operator I to oversee the safe and efficient operation of automated rock product processing at an aggregate location. You will monitor equipment, identify issues, and ensure peak plant efficiency in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, the ability to work with rotating schedules (11am-11pm), and basic computer skills to track operations. Prior experience in mining or construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years experience in construction/mining preferred.
• Experience with automated processing equipment preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
