Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Austin is seeking a Mid-Level QA Tester to design, implement, and maintain automated mobile tests using Appium. You will execute both manual and automated tests across iOS and Android, track defects, and ensure quality throughout the sprint cycle.

The role is hybrid in Austin, TX with four days onsite and one remote day per week, involving collaboration with onshore and offshore QA teams to safeguard release quality and momentum.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Hands-on coding in Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Working knowledge of iOS (XCUI) and Android (Espresso).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr).
• Agile/Scrum experience and understanding of CI/CD in mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites using Appium for mobile platforms.
• Execute manual and automated tests across iOS and Android, including regression testing.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps; escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate QA with onshore and offshore teams to ensure sprint alignment.
