Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas seeks a Mobile QA/Test Automation Engineer for a hybrid role based in Austin, TX. The position focuses on developing and maintaining automated test suites for iOS and Android, and coordinating QA activities across onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years mobile application testing (iOS/Android) with 3+ years in test automation.
• Strong proficiency with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Hands-on coding in Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Working knowledge of XCUI (iOS) and/or Espresso (Android).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr, or similar).
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
• CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Test Development & Quality Assurance across mobile platforms.
• Design and maintain automated test suites using Appium; leverage XCUI/Espresso suites.
• Execute manual and automated tests including post-deployment and regression testing.
• Document and track defects with clear reproduction steps; escalate critical issues.
• Lead, mentor and coach team on testing strategies and Agile best practices.
• Coordinate QA activities between onshore and offshore teams.
