Job summary

Accelera in Texas is hiring a Paint Robot Technician to oversee automated spray systems for polyurea coatings. You will manage ABB IRB 5500 robotic units and Graco Reactor hardware to keep production safe, uniform, and highly productive.

You will perform startup to shutdown operations, monitor performance, adjust minor processes, and verify coating thickness and surface coverage. Strong focus on safety, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic spray systems and automated painting processes.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and document actions clearly.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for high-pressure systems and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ABB IRB 5500 robotic units and Graco Reactor equipment.
• Maintain logs of production, material use, and maintenance actions.
• Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and equipment sanitization.
• Support process improvements with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Adhere to PPE usage and safety protocols.
