Job summary

Twist Bioscience is seeking motivated individuals to join the Operations Team in South San Francisco as Manufacturing Associate, NGS TE. You will perform basic molecular biology workflows and manufacture custom oligonucleotide products in a highly automated, high-throughput lab.

Ideal candidates work independently, are neat and organized, and can follow established SOPs to complete manufacturing batch records contributing to daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience following SOPs and completing batch records in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work independently and in a clean, organized manner.
• Comfort using standard software tools (Excel, Word) and issue tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high quality oligo-containing products in a high-throughput lab per SOPs.
• Operate robotic and traditional lab equipment (bioanalyzers, centrifuges, thermocyclers, HPLCs, etc.).
• Perform basic molecular biology workflows (PCR, DNA quantitation, purification).
• Maintain thorough documentation in batch records and databases; note problems and deviations.
• Update and write work instructions and documentation.
• Safe, independent work with attention to process detail.
