Job summary

Modula USA in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, and quality-check our automated sheet metal machines. After training, you’ll ensure parts stay within tight tolerances and perform routine maintenance.

You should have at least one year in manufacturing, reading blueprints, and basic math. The shift is 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm; background checks and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience; ISO 9001 experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational CNC/electrical training preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; reading blueprints required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, measuring and power tools.
• Strong math, geometry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Consistent attendance; schedule 2 pm - 10:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments to the machine to keep parts within dimensional tolerances.
• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic quality checks.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment if breakdown occurs.
• Handle inventory, receive, and stow large bundles of steel stock; load machine.
• Adhere to company procedures, including quality and safety.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
