Dover Corporation is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to produce high-quality metal parts safely and efficiently on a variety of CNC equipment across the campus. You will take ownership of your machines and work area, set up and run automated, semi-automated, and manual fabrication equipment, and perform detailed inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, use of precision measuring tools, and a commitment to Lean and continuous improvement.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating CNC/automation in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and process sheets.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and verify parts meet specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety policies, PPE, and guarding standards.
• Read work orders and drawings to produce parts to spec.
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC/automation equipment.
• Load material, adjust tooling, and prepare for production runs.
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Identify quality issues and communicate with supervisors/QA.
• Support autonomous maintenance and 5S/6S in the shop floor.
• Collaborate with teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
