Ecolab is seeking an Automated Machine Operator to join our team in Garland, TX. As an Automated Machine Operator, you'll help deliver products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You'll operate machinery and equipment, follow standard procedures, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Operate machinery, process and/or filling equipment to meet production goals
Set up production lines correctly and perform core Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities
Operate equipment such as fillers, sleeve labelers, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, ink jet printers, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses
Review filling and packaging instructions and ensure correct materials and PPE are available
Perform quality checks, including taking samples and monitoring fill weights
Document quality and productivity data accurately in paper or electronic systems
Assist with line changeovers and wash water collection
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects to drive continuous improvement
Identify and help eliminate sources of waste in systems and processes
Plant Location: Garland, TX
Work Week & Shift: B shift (1:30PM - 9:30PM) OR C shift (9:30PM - 5:30AM) Monday to Friday
Compensation: $26.02 per hour
Shift differential starting at $0.50 per hour depending on B or C shift

High School diploma or GED
1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment using the following equipment: filler, sleeve labeler, cappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, lid presses
1 year of experience working with automated processes in a manufacturing environment
1 year working with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)- tablets are used in this role
Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals in English

Hazardous Materials or DOT training
Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals
Ability to understand and track safety, quality and productivity data, including run rates, fill weights, and averages
Mechanical aptitude
Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement Systems
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team

The pay rate for this role is $26.02 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
