Job summary

Genentech in Holly Springs, NC is seeking a Warehouse Operator to ramp up a high-volume GMP warehouse, coordinating with SAP/eWM, ASRS, and other IT systems. You will support inbound/outbound operations, safety, and documentation to ensure audit-ready processes.

Role requires forklift experience, RF scanning, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexibility for nights/weekends as operations scale to 24/7.

Qualifications

GMP warehouse experience in pharma/biotech/med-device.
Experience operating forklifts in high-volume setting.
Ability to use handheld RF scanners and perform basic WMS transactions.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail to match SAP records.
Safety-focused around high-speed automated machinery (ASRS).

Responsibilities

Unloading trailers and running pallet exchanges to meet ASRS specs; monitor WCS for system induction.
Serve as first line of defense for ASRS logic errors or jams; escalate as needed.
Enter real-time material movements in SAP/eWM to maintain inventory accuracy.
Retrieve pallets from ASRS and load finished goods onto outbound trailers.
Monitor temperature-controlled storage and respond to excursions or alarms.
Work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends, as Holly Springs ramps to 24/7.
Maintain 5S cleanliness and audit readiness in warehouse areas.
Complete ALCOA+ electronic records for cleaning, room logs, and labeling.
