GAP Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Automated Cell Culture Biologist to support the NIA ADRD project at NIH. You will automate large-scale iPSC culture experiments, develop protocols, and quantify genetic pathway effects on ADRD phenotypes.

The role involves coordinating with staff, optimizing workflows on Hamilton/TECAN systems, and maintaining precise records for publication and data analysis.

Formación

• Master's degree in a relevant life sciences field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Proficiency with R and Seurat.
• Experience in programming (VENUS, Visual Basic, C++, MATLAB, or Python).
• Proficiency with automated liquid handling robots.
• Experience planning and optimizing experiments and QC testing.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture, especially iPS cells.
• Experience with operating and programming liquid handling robotics and platforms (Hamilton, TECAN, Beckman, Agilent).
• Knowledge of proper laboratory disposal methods and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and administer biological research programs.
• Work with staff to characterize genetic pathways for ADRD using human cell-based models.
• Perform large-scale iPSC cell culture experiments on liquid handling platforms.
• Develop and implement automation methods on liquid handling systems.
• Record and analyze experimental data; present results in meetings.
• Train staff on instrument usage and data analysis.
• Collaborate to carry out high-throughput cell culture protocols.
