Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Machine Operator in Lenexa, Kansas to operate automated packaging and mixing lines. You will ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency while maintaining equipment and line performance on shift.

Starting pay is $23.25 per hour with potential for a $1 raise after six months of good standing, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience working with automated machinery (industrial setting).
• Experience troubleshooting machine programs or mechanical problems.
• Proven technical background and capability to operate and maintain equipment.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automated mixing, baking, packaging, and palletizing equipment.
• Ensure material and finished product meet quality standards and safety practices.
• Maintain equipment programs and train backups on shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Document and track production, quality, and traceability data accurately.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and shutdowns as required.
