ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Austell, GA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You’ll handle electro-mechanical systems, low-voltage wiring, and door hardware with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record to travel to customer sites.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
