Job summary

ULAC is seeking an Order Fulfillment Equipment Operator to support the picking department in a large distribution center. You will operate power industrial trucks, use RF scanners, and follow WMS procedures to pick and stage orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include daily operations, equipment checks, accuracy of waves, and coordination with team leaders. Prior experience in a DC environment and commitment to continuous improvement are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate or learn PIT equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute tasks via RF scanners or pick tickets.
• Capable of sustained physical activity including walking, lifting, and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to work independently.
• Comfortable using WMS, scanners, and computer-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the picking/fulfillment area.
• Operate PIT equipment and RF scanners to pick and stage orders.
• Verify paperwork and merchandise for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain safety practices and conduct pre-operation inspections.
• Participate in training and implement objectives from the DC team.
• Collaborate with team members and area managers to resolve issues.
