Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an entry level technician to maintain and support an automated conveyor system in a demanding warehouse environment.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components, and perform preventive maintenance while adhering to safety policies. The role requires reading schematics, lifting and bending, and the ability to work 2pm–10:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and layout drawings to support maintenance.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support UPS conveyor and automated rack retrieval equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting material handling.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections per standards and work orders.
• Follow UPS safety policies, lockout/tagout, PPE, fall protection, and electrical rules.
