Job summary

UPS is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support and maintain an automated conveyor system in a fast-paced operation in Londonderry, NH. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy loads while wearing PPE.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, on-time package flow. Candidates should be able to work Tue-Sat, 2pm–10:30pm, and reside in the geographic area.

Qualifications

• Entry level role requiring mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to lift and manipulate equipment and packages of significant weight.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with reading schematics and layout drawings
• Maintain and support UPS conveyor and automated rack retrieval equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and on-time package flow within the operation
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical issues in material-handling systems using schematics, system diagnostics, and UPS maintenance procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments per UPS BaSE standards and CMMS work orders
• Follow UPS safety policies including lockout/tagout and PPE while working at heights and around energized equipment
