Job summary

Ambrosia Energy is building a fast-paced automated factory for battery pack manufacturing in California. You will support automation projects, wiring, pneumatics routing, I/O checkouts, and production qualification, while updating schematics and building wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment.

Collaborate with production and engineering to bring up equipment, run tests, address shortages, and improve PLC/HMI programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design/manufacture of assembly machinery or high-volume products.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Reliability and work ethic to keep production line moving.

Responsibilities

• Support building and activation of new automation projects (mechanical, wiring, pneumatics, I/O).
• Update and modify electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.
• Design and build wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment.
• Support production, engineering, and qualification tests including bring-up and troubleshooting.
• Manage first article builds and coordinate with suppliers for outsourced equipment builds.
• Develop and manage maintenance plans for production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control panels; improve robot applications.
