Job summary

ICU Medical currently seeks an Equipment Operator II in Southington, CT to reliably run moderately complex automated assembly equipment. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to procedures within a cleanroom-adjacent manufacturing setting.

You will start from powered-down state, perform startup checklists, and maintain accurate batch records. The position requires physical endurance and strong attention to process documentation and EHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; or Technical Certificate with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up operation from power off/cold state and complete equipment and product paperwork.
• Conduct Level I preventive maintenance tasks.
• Participate in changeovers including line clearance and documentation.
• Set up work orders in electronic batch records and data systems.
• Pull test samples for QC and move finished production to totes.
• Fill component hoppers/bowls to maintain production.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate to Technician as needed.
• Update hourly production boards with production and efficiency figures; note downtime and quality issues.
• Submit machine repair tags for support services.
• Ensure non-conforming products are processed per procedures; maintain 5S in work areas.
