Job summary

Biomerics is seeking an Operator II Safety to join its manufacturing team in Salt Lake City. You will perform production tasks, maintain safety and quality, and document activities following Good Documentation Practices.

This is a hands-on role requiring agility, dexterity, ability to lift 25 pounds, and willingness to work overtime to meet production goals. Prior operator or assembler experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Basic level competence to complete paperwork accurately in English.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience as an operator or assembler within manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• The ability to operate or set up testing software is preferred but not required.
• Heightened safety awareness is essential.
• Stamina to stand and walk within the facility for prolonged periods.
• Capable of multitasking and constantly being on the move throughout the workday.
• The strength to lift 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform various production tasks as trained, including bonding, soldering, basic assembly, operational inspections, sealing, and general packaging.
• Must achieve optimal performance and efficiency standards set by the area supervisor.
• Trained and/or certified on at least 75% of area assignments.
• May assist with training other operators after established competency.
• Maintain inventory within production and general areas to improve accuracy and minimize waste.
• Offer suggestions to improve output to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Participate in area improvement projects as applicable.
• Maintain excellent attendance and be ready to work extra hours when necessary.
