Orange EV is seeking a seasoned CAD Designer to create and manage electrical and mechanical CAD models and drawings for current and future model programs. The role emphasizes Autodesk Inventor, iLogic automation, and Vault data management to streamline design workflows.

You will develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, build iLogic rules, manage BOMs, and support cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and accurate documentation throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of product design/CAD experience with strong Inventor proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with iLogic automation and parameter-driven modeling.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault for CAD file management and release workflows.
• Understanding of GD&T and standard drafting practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare top-down models and basic design drawings/CAD models for new and existing products.
• Create detailed drawings and CAD models for components and subassemblies.
• Apply GD&T with guidance.
• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Build and maintain iLogic rules and automation scripts.
• Manage CAD data, revisions, and workflows in Autodesk Vault.
• Create and update BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Support engineering teams with design modifications and manufacturability improvements.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Quality teams.
