Job summary

The Sterilizer Technician at The InterMed Group is responsible for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical sterilization equipment in healthcare and lab settings. You ensure steam autoclaves and other infection-control systems operate safely and in compliance with manufacturer specs and hospital policy.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document all service activities, assist with installations, and support clinical operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent military/training.
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, disassemble/replace parts as needed.
• Provide customer support for equipment repair and troubleshooting and document all service activities.
• Assist with equipment installs and de-installs and ensure regulatory compliance.
